An Analysis of Translation of the Concept Words in Chinese Traditional Classics

典籍翻译是一项相当具有挑战性的工作,也是把富有中国特色的传统文化精髓介绍给世界的良好途径。"龙"的误译即带来长时间的文化误解,而目前有较多译本的典籍《论语》中概念术语也不尽人意,因而提出概念术语翻译的规范原则和技巧,以便更好地介绍和传播中国传统思想文化。

Although the work of translating Chinese classics is challengeable,it＇s a good way to introduce the Chinese traditional essence to the world.Reflecting on the misunderstanding caused by the inappropriate translation of ＂dragon＂ and the appeal of revising ＂dragon＂ to ＂loong＂ by some scholars,the thesis analyzes the mass translation of concept words in Confucian Analects and puts forward some suggestions of bringing the translation to some more perfection in the hope of conveying Chinese traditional essence better.
