Viewing Liu Zongyuan's Mentality of Relegation through his Planting Poetry:A Concurrent Comparison of the Planting Poetry between Liu Zong Yuan and Bai Juyi

种植诗创自杜甫,是传统的咏物诗与诗歌题材日常化相结合的产物。在柳宗元的种植诗中,反映了他被贬之后的复杂心态,即忧生与救治,自负与自怜,绝望与理想。而白居易的种植诗主要反映了他的闲适心态。

The planting poetry originated from Du Fu,and was the product of the combination between the object-chanting poetry and the poetry daily themes.The planting poetry of Liu Zongyuan showed his complex mentality of relegation,namely his worries on life and the treatment,this conceit and self-pity,his desperation and ideality.While Bai Juyi＇s planting poetry reflected his mentality of leisure.
