Starting from the current status of the development of the interact of things （IOT） in Japan, the paper investigates the application of RFID and lOT technology in the Japanese garment industry, with emphasis on the application mode and effect. It finds that, using the technologies, the Japanese garment industry builds a supply chain service system where information flows rapidly and unhindered, improving the overall industrial efficiency and individual enterprise competitiveness.
