《红楼梦》中的儿化词在不同章回使用频率有极大的差异,不同的人物性格导致他们的语言中使用儿化词的频率也有极大的差异。在《红楼梦》前八十回中,贾政的语言没有一个儿化词,王熙凤和贾母却大量使用儿化词,这应是曹雪芹匠心独运、精心布局的结果。曹雪芹深知儿化词的特点,在作品中巧妙运用,令人惊叹。

The sutiixation of a nonsyllabic r to nouns and sometimes verbs was frequently used in the book A Dream of the Red Mansions to get a r-ending retroflexion result. The frequence of such usage was completely different just according to the different disposition of different characters. In the first eighty, chapters, there was no such usage in JIA Zheng＇s speech, while it was frequently used in WANG Xi-feng and Grandmother Jia＇s speech, which results from the painstaking design and careful construction of the auther, CAO Xue-qin. The author was quite familiar with the r-ending retrofrexion and used it ingenionsly, which won everybody＇s admiration.
