Forgotten Area被遗忘的角落 ＂That was a forgotten dark corner,＂ recalls Zhang Pingyi. She still remembers the scene when she first visited Dayingpan, also known as ＂leper village,＂ in Southwest China＇s Sichuan Province, 11 years ago. At that time, Zhang was a journalist who worked for Taiwan Residents newspaper China Times. She visited the remote village, in Yuexi County, in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, to conduct interviews.
