化学纤维生产为把不同的聚合物组分加工到同一根纤维中提供了各种各样的可能性。已知的纤维截面几何形状有"皮芯"型结构、"并列"型长丝和"橘瓣"型纤维,而且,可以使纤维直径外形本身发生变化。因此,这一技术在将来的应用中具有巨大潜力。在医药、技术工程和仿生学领域,德国邓肯道夫纺织与工艺研究所(ITV)目前正在进行两个政府的项目。项目的重点是由两种不同聚合物材料组成的纤维的生产以及这些特殊纤维的功能化。ITV现有两套能挤出双组分的生产线。
Chemical fiber production offers a variety of possibilities to process different polymeric components into one filament. Known fiber profiles are "sheathcore" structures, "side-by-side" filaments and "segmented-pie" fibers to name just a few. Furthermore, the fiber diameter' s profile itself can be varied. Thus, this techno- logy has great potential for future applications. In the fields of medical and technical engineering and bionics there are currently two public projects in porgress at the Institute of Textile Technology and Process Engi- neering in Denkendoff/Germany. These projects focus on the production of filaments consisting of two different polymeric materials and the funetionalization of these special filaments. Two bicomponent-eapable extrusion lines are available at the ITV.
