摘要
提出一种二次曲面逼近图像编码方法.首先将原图像分割为若干子图像,然后,对于每一个子图像,找到一个最佳的二次曲面,并用其上的点逼近图像的像点.于是,只需要对该二次曲面的六个描述参数进行编码,对标准图像进行的实际编码结果,证明了所提出的方法的正确性.
A second order curved surface approximation method for image coding is presented. The original image is first partitioned into many sub images. An optimal second order surface is then found for every sub image. The pixels on the sub image are approximated by the corresponding points on the surface. As a result, only six description parameters of the surface are needed to be encoded. Real coding results on a standard experimental image show that the method is correct.
