Compared with the traditional film review, online film review has more advantages in the length, format, style, individualism and freedom. As an emerging force, it has changed and is changing our way of seeing films and talking about films. By using the Internet, film review has expanded its room for survival. The way of thinking of film reviewers has been innovated in both forms and theories, and the growing number of online critics has become a strong reserve for the development of film review industry. Online film review exerts its value not only on the subject it reflected and criticized, the medium in which it exists, but also on its social and cultural value.
