政治哲学的本质就是对所有政治活动及其对象化形式之合法性(legitima-cy)与正当性(justification)的理性设计和实践模构。超越政治哲学之"门派纷争"狡黠,问题更在于一种"实践生成论"基础上的政治哲学所探讨的具体问题的厘定。深入开展和推进马克思主义政治哲学创新研究,当是走出现行政治哲学的藩篱从而实现其视域转换的必然趋势。当代中国政治哲学的实践创制,说到底就是当代中国特色的公民社会的建构问题。而其"政府主导性"(非自发性)和"官民双重性"的特质亦决定了中国公民社会的建构具有一系列迥异其趣的着眼点。

The essence of political philosophy is rational reflection and molding of the legitimacy and iustification of all political activities and their forms. The key to transcend the ＂rank dilemma＂ of political philosophy is to determinate the specific problems of the study on political philosophy. It is inevitable and indispensable to further develop and promote innovative research of Marxist political philosophy if modern political philosophy is expected to break the existing barriers and achieve its transformations. The practice of contemporary Chinese political philosophy is, in essence, ＂civil society＂ construction with Chinese characteristics. The creation of Chinese ＂civil society＂ should be based on a series of different focuses due to the ＂government leadership＂ （non-spontaneous） and the ＂duality of the official and the public＂.
