摘要
从新的视角重新审视了索绪尔语言符号"任意性"的内涵,提出任意性包含能指和所指联结以及符号与符号联结两个层面的任意性,任意性的构件是多元的,不仅限于所指和能指,阐述了绝对任意性和相对任意性的辩证关系,以及言语和语言的可论证性、任意性的历时过渡转换。
There have been different interpretations on Saussure＇s principle of arbitrariness,including various misunderstandings.The paper deals with the real inner meaning of the principle,illustrates the two facets,multiple components,and dialectical quality of arbitrariness of linguistic signs,and presents the transition of demonstrability to arbitrariness of parole and language.
