US States＇ HDI （Human De - velopment Index） rankings, composed from data on three items, life expectacy, educa- tion and income. East coast did a good job with State of Conneticut ranks No. 1 at a socre of 6.3 （10 = best, national average score is 5.17）. We listed the top 14.
