Internet-based CET-4 has become the trend of CET-4. An effective way to make the backwash effect of the test positive is to improve its validity.The synchronic validity of Internet-based CET-4 listening subtest is relatively guaranteed;in contrast,it is likely that lack of content validity and predictive validity of the test may result from the improper use of the test,difficulty of the items and insufficient samples;and the construct validity needs more empirical research to test the hypotheses.
