通过对体育理论教研室自身建设现状的分析，指出了当前高校体育理论教研室在教学和管理中所存在的一些问题，并针对性地提出了系统的设计方案．目的在于进一步发挥体育理论教研室的功能，以适应日益发展的高校体育改革的要求．

The article puts forward some questions in teaching and management of physical theory teaching and ressearch section in colleges and universities by analyzing the present condition to strengthen itself. In order to give play to the function of physical theory teaching and research section and suit the development of physical reform in colleges and universities, the article also gives systematic design plan.
