Tao Yuanming＇s pastoral poetry gave the realistic reflection to his rural life and also a true portrayal of local rural ecological environment of that time.With the bright characteristics of the epoch and the region,his poetry was a vivid representation of the medieval rural material life and spiritual life,which presented a sight of bright and colorful countryside.We may say that it could be epics first showing the ecological environment in Poyang Lake.Therefore,it is of great historical and realistic significance to study his poetry for understanding the regional rural environment at that time.
