Because of the link- up of the tunnel, the Jiaozhou Bay is like a dragon lying at the bottom of the bay, which makes itself more beautiful. The construction of tunnel under the Jiaozhou Bay will quicken the pace of building a bay-type Qingdao urban frame, promote the economic and social development and the urban construction, realize the 'four-hour-economic-circle' between the peninsula urban agglomerations and the 'one-hour- economic-circle' in Qingdao, and play a leading role in Qingdao.
