Traditional Chinese auspicious design is an important part of Chinese culture,with wide application domain,which is including modern design toys.The article studies from the characteristics of modern toy design to explore it with traditional cultural symbols of the necessity and feasibility,while the traditional auspicious patterns as a case,combined with auspicious patterns in animal pattern element analysis and design for the modern toy into these cultural symbols,hoping to our country＇s modern toy designs would gain some inspiration.
