Technology and Control: An Unavoidable Issue in the Age of Technology

现代技术正成为一种全球性的力量并使人类社会变成一个"技术的社会",它深刻地影响、决定和控制着人类的现在与未来。在获得巨大的技术成就的同时,各种技术问题却层出不穷甚至威胁着人类未来的命运。为此,需要控制技术的负面效应问题,并以控制的理念来发展和应用技术。尽管对技术进行控制存在着一定的困境,但以控制的理念对待技术可能是一种积极地救世之路。

Modern technology is becoming a global power which turns the human society into a ＂technological community＂ with profound,decisive and controlling impact upon the present and future mankind.While tremendous achievement is being gained in technology,various technological problems appear one after another,which might bring threat upon the future of mankind.Therefore,there is a need to keep the negative effects of technology under control and develop and avail technology with under the guidance of control theories.Though there exists a certain dilemma in the technological control,it could be a positive way of salvation to tackle technological issues through the control theory.
