摘要
在北京BEPC正负电子对撞机的BES谱仪实验中,进行了利用最小χ2 方法对e、μ、π、K粒子的鉴别的研究. 给出了这四类粒子动量在500 MeV到1 600 MeV之间满意的鉴别效率和误判率.
The application of least χ 2 method to the identification of e, μ, π, K particles by calculating their covariance matrices in BES experiment is discussed. The application gives satisfactory identification efficiency and background level for particles with momentum in the range from 500 MeV to 1 600 MeV.
