对外贸易与污染排放强度——基于地区面板数据的经验分析(1998—2006)

Foreign Trade and Population Intensity:Analysis Based on Regional Panel Data(1998—2006)

采用1998—2006年中国30个省市的面板数据,以空气、水体和固体废物中六类污染物的排放强度来度量中国的区域环境质量。在回归模型中,同时考虑环境规制效应和要素禀赋效应的影响。估计结果表明,贸易开放是影响环境质量的重要变量,贸易开放本身不利于环境质量的改善,对外贸易引致的污染避难所效应成立,要素禀赋效应不成立,不同的环境质量度量指标所得的结果存在差异。

The environmental quality is measured by pollution intensity of six pollutants in air,water and solid waste.With regression model,the paper studies the impact of environmental effect and factor endowment effect.The result shows trade openness is an important factor of environmental quality,and trade openness itself if not good for environment.The trade-induced pollution haven effect holds but factor endowment effect doesn′t hold,and different measurement of environmental quality has different results.
