Several Different Problems and Trends in Current Development of Chinese Drama

在文化多元化和全球化的时代语境中,人们的艺术观、道德观和审美观发生重要变化的今天,如何评价戏曲艺术的价值,如何认识戏曲艺术与新的时代生活的关系,戏曲艺术如何由传统向现代转换,以及戏曲艺术自身如何发展等问题,带给我们许多新的思考。本文从中国戏曲的历史命运、对于传统的体认、戏曲的市场化道路与多样化发展、戏曲剧目的创作、剧种的保护与发展以及建立中国戏曲表演理论体系等方面,论述了当前中国戏曲面临的问题与倾向。有些问题带有相当的普遍性,深入研究探讨这些现实问题,有利于推动中国戏曲艺术的现代发展。

In contemporary context of cultural diversification and globalization,there are significant changes in artistic viewpoint,morality,and aesthetics,which bring a lot of new reflections upon several problems upon how to evaluate the merit of drama art,how to understand the relationship between drama and contemporary life,how traditional drama transforms smoothly to a modern form,and how drama advances itself. Viewed from aspects of historical fortune,identification of tradition,market-oriented evolvement and its diversification,the present article discusses upon several problems confronting contemporary Chinese drama.
