From Shanghai Exhibition to Shanghai Originality:Transformation and Upgrade of Shanghai Film Industry after the 2010 Expos

上海凭借2010年世博会赢得了巨大的"眼球效应",上海的影视文化产业在本届展会承担了大型活动"秀场"的宣传与展示功能,但尚未提炼出新的内容创意与产业主体。第41届世博会对上海影视产业文化发展是一次机遇,也是一次挑战。所谓机遇,上海影视产业界得以充分了解掌握世界影视技术的动向与前景;所谓挑战,我们也充分感受到上海影视文化产业在内容建设方面同世界、亚洲高水平的差距。上海应当以此次世博会为契机,在亚洲范围内致力锻造影视文化创意之都,打造内容产业升级的发动机。

In 2010 Expos,Shanghai draws a great attention of the world and its film industry plays a significant role in propaganda and exhibition in some large-scale activities. However,fresh ideas and industry subject have not yet been refined from the grand meeting. The 41st Expos is an opportunity and a challenge as well to Shanghai film industry. On one hand,Shanghai becomes aware of the tendency and prospect of international film techniques. On the other hand,we still have a long way to go,compared with the relatively advanced film industry in Asia and Western countries. Therefore,it is necessary for Shanghai to establish itself as an upgraded engine and develop itself to a city of originality.
