Popularization and Politicization: Concept of Capital in Research and Teaching of Economic History about Modern China

近代中国经济史教学中资本概念称谓更多的是历史习惯的延续,其内涵和外延并非名副其实,不能很好地表达其本身的含义。基于此种原因,为了研究和教学的方便,我们可以将资本概念的形式进行简化,即将近代资本形态根据其所有权划分为三种:外国资本、民营资本和国家资本。这种划分的好处在于标准单一,便于理解和接受,可以避免引起思想和逻辑上的混乱。

The concept of capital in the teaching of Economic History about Modern China is usually used by habit.In fact,their connotation and denotation can＇t really convey its exact meaning.Due to these reasons,we can simplilize the concept of captial according to the ownership.That is to say,we can divide the capital into three kinds： foreign capital,private capital and national capital according to the ownership.The advantage of this division is that it can not only easily be understood and accepted but also avoid confusion in concept and logic.
