Beauty of Nature and Fostering of Personality

由于中国传统文化中天人感应学说的影响 ,中国古代美学注重自然与人格的融会 ;从先秦到六朝的“比德说”与人物品藻 ,便集中体现了这一点。古代美学主张从自然中获取人生自由与人格独立 ,摆脱世俗的束缚 ,得到真淳的审美愉悦 ,培养高尚的人格。

Influenced by the theory of correspondence between man and universe ,aesthetics in ancient China pays special attention to fusion of nature and personality development.According to ancient aesthetics man can obtain a sense of freedom and independence from nature and be rid of the control of conventional ideas.In the process of doing so man is able to experience genuine happiness and develop decent personality.These ideas may shed light on education of aesthetics today.\;
