丙烷是有毒、有害、易燃、易爆的轻烃,丙烷脱沥青装置丙烷泵选择机械密封系统时需要严格考虑泄漏率和安全环保性能。中国石油天然气股份有限公司克拉玛依石化分公司丙烷泵在不同时期选用了不同的机械密封系统,从实用角度阐述了单端面密封、双重密封和干气密封的运行情况。结果表明:对于丙烷等轻烃类介质,选择干气密封系统更为有效。

As propane is a toxic, hazardous, inflammable and explosive light hydrocarbon, leakage rate and HSE performance must be strictly considered in the selection of mechanical seal for propane pumps in propane deasphahing unit. In PetroChina Karamay Petrochemical Company, different types of mechanical systems have been selected at different time periods. The operations of single seal, the double seal and dry gas seal have been described in view of practical aspect. The operation shows that it is more effective to select dry gas seal system for light hydrocarbons like propane.
