Effects of "2×4" appliance with reverse headgear in orthodontics of mild skeletal anterior crossbite in the mixed dentition

目的探讨"2×4"技术配合前方牵引矫治替牙期轻度骨性反。方法选择10例替牙期轻度骨性反病例,上颌用"2×4"技术配合前方牵引进行矫治。矫治前后拍摄X线头颅侧位定位片进行分析比较。结果 10例替牙期轻度骨性反病例均取得满意疗效。矫治前后X线头影测量指标显示有显著性差异。结论 "2×4"技术配合前方牵引是矫治替牙期轻度骨性反的有效方法。

Objective To study the effects of ＂2×4＂ appliance with reverse headgear in orthodontics of mild skeletal anterior crossbite in the mixed dentition.Methods10 patients with skeletal anterior crossbite were treated with ＂2×4＂ appliance with reverse headgear in the mixed dentition.Lateral cephalometricfilms were taken at the beginning and at the end of the treatment,and were analyzed.Results10 patients with mild skeletal anterior crossbite in the mixed dentition were treated successfully.There was significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment cephalometricfilms.Conclusions＂2×4＂ appliance with reverse headgear is an effective technique for mild skeletal anterior crossbite in mixed dentition.
