摘要
目的:研究中药提取物对变异链球菌(Streptococcus mutans,Sm)生长的影响,为开展中药防龋提供实验依据。方法:以五倍子为对照,采用杯碟法测定5种中药水提取物对Sm的抑菌作用,测量抑菌环直径大小,计算最低抑菌浓度(MIC)。结果:5种中药水提取物对Sm均有抑制作用,且随浓度增高,抑菌环直径增大,二者呈正相关关系。抑菌作用依次为黄连>五倍子>黄芩>乌梅>丁香>厚朴。黄连具有显著的抑菌效果,优于五倍子,且与其他药物相比,均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:黄连、厚朴、乌梅、黄芩、丁香对Sm均有一定的抑制作用。其中黄连效果显著,具有研制防龋药物的潜力。
AIM: To investigate the effects of aqueous extract of 5 Chinese traditional medicine on the growth of Streptococcus mutans.METHODS: Using Galla chinensis as positive control,cylinder plate method was used to determine the antimicrobial effects of the aqueous extract of Coptis,Scutellaria,Fructus mume,Clove and Magnolia officinalis on S.mutans,The diameter of inhibition ring was measured and the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MIC) was calculated.RESULTS: All the aqueous extract of Chinese traditional medicine showed antimicrobial effects against S.mutans.The diameter of the inhibition ring increased with the increase of concentration of the extracts.The antimicrobial effects were as follows: CoptisGalla chinensisScutellariaFructus mumeCloveMagnolia officinalis.Coptis showed significantly stronger antimicrobial effects than the other extracts(P0.05).CONCLUSION: All the extracts showed antimicrobial effect against S.mutans.Coptis had the strongest effects,which could be potentially used for prevention and treatmeat of caries.
