Investigation and analysis of non-English major freshmen′s autonomous learning

自主学习能力的培养是大学英语教学过程中一个不可缺少的环节。依据自主学习理论,从大学英语教学的角度,在问卷调查的基础上对我校非英语专业新生的英语自主学习现状进行分析,并提出培养其英语自主学习意识及能力的一些可行性措施。

Development of autonomous learning ability is an integral part of college English teaching.Based on the theory of learner′s autonomy,the paper investigates and analyzes the present situations of autonomous learning among non-English major freshmen in the form of questionnaires and then recommends some feasible measures as how to develop awareness and ability of autonomous learning.
