摘要牙根发育不良（HTR）是指牙齿根部生理性发育障碍的疾病,是一类先天性发育异常疾病。按其病理表现可能有牙根牙骨质发育缺陷、牙根牙本质发育缺陷、牙根形态异常或牙根附着器官发育异常等类型[1]。其结果可导致牙根短小、牙根缺如,严重者造成牙齿过早脱落。目前我国口腔临床教科书尚无该疾病的详细分类及描述,国外学者将该类疾病统称为短根异常疾病（SRA）,其发病率在1%～10%之间[2-5]。
