社会保障覆盖率对农村居民消费影响的实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Influence of Social Security Coverage on Rural Residents' Consumption

从覆盖率和保障水平两个维度实证研究社会保障对我国农村居民消费的影响,结果表明:社会保障对于农村居民消费有促进作用,其中提高覆盖率可以明显减少居民的不确定性从而增加消费意愿,提升保障水平则因对居民收入支持作用明显而能促进消费。在当今形势下,政府首先应致力于提高社会保障的覆盖率,同时应通过改变转移支付方式增加居民保障水平,以推动社会保障向纵深发展,从而有效扩大农村居民消费。

This paper, from the two dimensions of coverage and security level, carries out an empirical study on the influence of social security on China＇ s rural resident＇ s consumption. The conclusion reveals that social security provides an impetus for rural residents＇ consumption. Specifically, a raise in coverage can obviously reduce resident＇s umcertainty and thus boost consumption willingness; a raise in security level can strongly support resident＇s income and thus boost consumption. Therefore, in the current condition the government should commit itself to increasing social security coverage and at the same time upgrade security level by changing means of transfer payment. So as to promote the social security development in depth and expand the rural residents＇ consumption effectively.
