The development of a full text retrieval database system for SINOPEC scientific and technical periodicals is introduced. It presents with emphasis on main techniques, functions and features of the database system establishment. The full text retrieving database system possesses comprehensive data, rich in information, and the characteristics of convenient and prompt in information retrieval.
