By feeling , recognizing and estimating the small traditional towns this paper analyses the structural pattern from seven aspects of social culture, the general of the small towns, streets and lanes, community and neighborhood, houses, the development of the small towns, social behaviour and psychology . It searches the vernacular elements of local characteristics of the region, and provides bases for the development of the small traditional towns .
