窝阔台汗时期,大蒙古国的教育开始向学校教育发展,并出现了儒学教育的趋势。耶律楚材作为一名治国良臣,其儒家思想对大蒙古国的文化教育起到了积极的作用。"戊戌选士"则是窝阔台汗统治时期的一件重要事件,反映了蒙古统治者从观念上对儒学有所转变和接受,这为以后儒学教育的发展创造了条件。大蒙古国国子学是大蒙古国的第一所学校,经历了由文字教育向儒学教育的转变,对大蒙古国及元代教育具有深远的意义。

During Ogadai’s Reign,the education in Great Mongol Empire began moving towards to school education,and the emergence of Confucianism.As a virtuous,great official,Yelv Chucai’s Confucianism played a positive role in Great Mongol Empire’s cultural education.＂Choosing the talents in 1238＂ is an important event during Ogadai ’s reign,which reflected that Mongol rulers changed the ideas about Confucianism and gradually accepted it.And this created conditions to the development of later Confucianism.The Imperial Education of the Great Mongol is the first school of Great Mongol,which experienced changes from language character education to Confucianism education,which had a profound effect on the Great Mongol and Yuan Dynasty’s education.
