摘要
针对便携设备上不断增强的视频处理要求和H.264编解码算法相对较高的计算复杂度之间的矛盾,提出了基于片上多核结构的H.264并行化方案,以达到实时编码的效果。该方案以FPGA为验证平台,通过硬件结构与软件算法协同优化的方式,在单总线双核结构的MPSoC上实现了基于片的H.264并行编码。实验结果表明,在嵌入式环境下利用多核技术实现H.264并行编码可以取得良好的加速效果。
Aiming at the conflict between the growing video processing requirements on portable equipments and high computational complexity of H.264 codec,a parallel MPSoC-based H.264 strategy is proposed for real-time encoding.Taking FPGA as verification platform,it achieves parallel slice-based H.264 encoding on a single bus dual-core MPSoC by collaboratively optimizing hardware structure and software algorithm.The experiment results show that a good acceleration effect can be made by using multi-core technology for parallel H.264 encoding in embedded environment.
