英国现代主义作家A·赫胥黎对法西斯主义的批判重在法西斯行政模式和对法西斯社会心理学的分析。他的反法西斯主义思想构成了他政治意识的一部份,形成他文学作品和文论的重要主题。从"社会批判理论"的视角解读赫胥黎的反法西斯主义思想,揭示代表作《美丽新世界》社会批判意义的一个全新层面。
A.Huxley criticizes fascism for its domestic politics of leadership cult,official propaganda for mass mobilization,terrorist coercion,and fascist mass psychology.His anti-fascist thought is an important part of his political awareness and a grave theme of his fiction Brave New World and nonfiction writings.A study of Huxley's anti-fascism in light of Critical Theory is a new approach to his masterpiece and exposes a new aspect of his political and literary thought.
