Wang Zhaojun in legend is not only different from the one in history but also different from the one in literature.Many scholars have already researched and discussed Wang Zhaojun in history and literature,while Wang Zhaojun in legend has not been adequately studied.This paper attempts to analyze Wang Zhaojun from the perspective of the folk.In legend,Wang Zhaojun is not only a historical figure,but also is an apotheosized figure and has become a protection goddess for working people.Wang Zhaojun′s amazing abilities are the main manifestation of apotheosize Wang Zhaojun.Some mysterious abilities are Wang Zhaojun′s own,while some are obtained by moving the god through the indomitable efforts.The apotheosized Wang Zhaojun has manifested working people＇s folk life,emotion and desire,and features of folk history,which is rich in features of the folk.
