摘要
轭式搭配（zeugma）修辞格运用比较广泛,但由于英语工具书给出的定义纷繁复杂,导致好多学者意见观点各不相同,也令初学者无所适从。本文从轭式搭配的诸多定义入手,分门别类地分析其特点、形式、功能和常用翻译方法,创新性地提出轭词语和轭句式的二分法,以期还学习者一个清晰的脉络。
Zeugma is one of the widely used rhetorical devices. However,its category is not clearly defined in most English dictionaries,which leads to the confusion of most scholars＇ opinions in their works and causes inconvenience for language learners.In order to make English learners clear about what zeugma is,this paper initiates a dichotomic analysis,on the basis of the research on its definition,feature,form and its translation strategy.
