“不”和“not”的否定辖域对比

A Contrastive Study of the Negation Scope and Negation Objects of "Not" and "BU"

本论文从句法和语义界面对汉语的＂不＂和英语的＂not＂否定辖域进行分析之后认为：1）在c-command条件下否定算子可以对其姊妹域中的任何成分进行否定;2）成分位移后因为语迹仍然属于否定辖域内而可以被否定;3）否定算子自身的语义特征和被否定的核心动词V0的语义特征限制否定辖域和否定对象;4）否定提升受到句法和语义特征的限制。

Based on the previous studies,this paper analyzes the Negation Scope and Objects of English negator ＂Not＂ and Chinese negator ＂BU＂ from the perspective of the interface of syntax and semantics,and we find： i） the negator is licensed to negate any constitutes in its sister domains;ii） the transferred constitute is still under the negation scope once its trace remains in the negation scope;iii） the semantic features of the negator and the negated V0 constrain the negation scope and negation objects;and iv） the neg-raising is constrained by the combination of syntactic and semantic features of V0.
