Causes of Underachievers in College English Learning and Rectification Countermeasures

大学英语"学困生"在完成公共英语学习任务过程中,在学习心理、外在表现和学习策略等方面都表现出一定的障碍,其原因在于固有的基础薄弱、挫折感干扰、自主意识差等,这和大学的英语教学方式、评价方式等有着密切的关系。而开展"学困生"学习障碍矫正,需要教师的主动干预和学生的密切配合,是一个系统性的工程。

Weak-learners show difficulties in learning psychology,exterior behaviours and learning strategies in English learning activities.This paper analyzes the causes including their interior weak basis,frustration and low self-awareness,which have close relationship with college English teaching methods and evaluations.It is pointed out that it is a systematic project to rectify underachievers＇ learning disorder,which needs teachers＇ active intervention and the students＇ cooperation.
