现代新儒家文化民族主义的发展经历了两个阶段:五四新文化运动与抗日战争时期。他们坚定民族本位的文化立场,对传统文化充满信心;亦积极儒化西洋文化,致力于传统文化的现代转换。从一定意义上讲,文化民族主义成为理解现代新儒家思想体系的逻辑起点。通过对现代新儒家文化民族主义进行深入研究,以期更好地认清那个时代知识分子救亡图存的心路历程。

Modern Neo-Confucianism＇s cultural nationalism has gone two stages： The New Culture Movement and Anti-Japanese War.Confidence in traditional culture,they are based on the position of national culture.Confucian western culture,they also are committed to the modern transformation of traditional culture.In this case cultural nationalism becomes the logic beginning in deconstructing modern Neo-Confucianism＇s thoughts.The essay plans to clarify that a generation of intellectuals shows their mentality of survival and salvation by deep study on the cultural nationalism.
