A Rustic Opinion on Preface and Postscript of Vernacular Novels in Qing Dynasty

清代白话小说的创作和出版比较活跃,与之相应,小说的序跋也数量可观。除了具有推动作品出版和传播的实用功能外,这些序跋文字的价值还体现在以下三个方面:一,分析解读作品文本的批评价值;二,探讨小说发展的理论价值;二,借题发挥,书写个人心志的文本价值。

The number of prefaces and postscripts were considerable for the active creation and publication of vernacular novels in Qing Dynasty.The preface and postscript not only pushed the publication and spread for the works of literature and art,but also worth on the following three aspects： the value of criticizing for the analyzing and understanding the literate of the works,the theory value on discussing about the development of the novels and the literate value of writing aspirations of the authors under the topics.
