摘要
选用三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)作为电缆料的原料,白炭黑作为补强填充剂,分别用硫磺和过氧化二异丙苯(DCP)作为硫化剂,氢氧化铝和氢氧化镁作为阻燃剂制备EPDM绝缘电缆料。通过硬度、拉伸强度、扯断伸长率、热老化后性能和氧指数等性能测试,确定阻燃EPDM电缆料的最佳用量和硫化参数;同时也进行了扫描电镜(SEM)分析。结果显示:硫化剂DCP比硫磺或DCP/硫磺复配效果好,氢氧化铝和氢氧化镁复配要比单独采用氢氧化铝或氢氧化镁的阻燃效果更好。阻燃EPDM电缆料的最佳配方为:EPDM 100份,白炭黑45份,DCP 3.5份,氢氧化铝90份,氢氧化镁10份。最佳硫化条件为:温度170℃,压力1.2 MPa,时间10 min。
EPDM cable materials were prepared,in which EPDM was used as raw materials,silica as reinforcement agent,sulfur and dicumyl peroxide(DCP) as curing agents,aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide as flame retardants.The best content and cure parameters of EPDM cable materials were determined by testing hardness,tensile strength,elongation at break,thermal properties and oxygen index,and analyzing SEM.The results showed that the properties of EPDM cable materials with DCP were better than those with sulfur or sulfur/DCP blend.The flame-resistance of EPDM cable materials with aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide blend was better than that with aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide.The ideal recipe of flame-resistant EPDM cable material was EPDM 100phr,silica 45,DCP 3.5phr,aluminum hydroxide 90phr and magnesium hydroxide 10phr.The best curing conditions were at 170℃,under 1.2MPa for 10min.
