The paper describes main process route and technological situation of EH40 grade high strength hull plate development by the team of Steckel Mill in Anyang Iron and Steel Co.Ltd.,introduces successful development of EH40 grade strength hull plate with excellent comprehensive performance by rational design and control of compositions and process.
