Various factors contributed to the 20 kV distribution network applications,the theoretical analysis and practice of 20 kV distribution network application proved the feasibility and efficiency.An important problem of practical application is the use of the original equipment reasonable and the new equipment selection.Firstly report the 20 kV distribution network research and application and points out reasons that the power supply company develop 20 kV distribution network.The method of making use of used cable,relay,circuit breakers in transformation and the selection of new transformer,power distribution devices,equipments is shown.
