摘要
Halliday的系统功能语法提供了分析语篇的理论框架,可以被用来探究语言特征以及语言建构规律。本文利用系统功能语法,对奥巴马在芝加哥发表的获胜演讲"The Change of America"进行了元功能分析,目的是验证系统功能语法在话语分析方面的实用性和可操作性,具体分析政治演讲文体的语言特征和语言功能效用的相互关系。
Halliday′s Systemic Functional Grammar provides a theoretical framework for the discourse analysis and can be applied to explore the language features and the pattern of the linguistic construction.This paper gives the metafunctional analysis of Obama′s speech The Change of America in order to testify the applicability and operability of Systemic Functional Grammar in discourse analysis and real the interrelation between language features and language functions of political speech in details.
