信息容量对道路交通标志中对称结构效应的影响

Information Capacity Influence on Symmetry Effect in Structure of Road Traffic Signs

本实验研究了道路交通标志中信息容量大小对路名对称结构效应的影响。实验采用延迟匹配任务的方法,共有18名被试参加实验。结果:①当路名容量信息较低,只有4条时,路名呈现不管是不是具有对称结构,被试都有较高的操作绩效;②当路名信息容量为6～10条时,对称结构的信息呈现方式对被试的作业绩效有明显的促进作用;③路名信息容量大于10条时,不管是不是具有对称结构,被试都有较差的操作绩效。结论:道路交通标志中路名对称结构效应的信息容量为6～10条。

The research explored the information capacity influence on symmetry effect in structure of road traffic signs.The experiment used delayed matching tasks by studying 18 participants.The results showed that： when the capacity of the information was low,and only four,the operation performance level was high no matter what structure of traffic signs was.The operation performance for symmetrical structure of traffic signs was faster and more accurate than for asymmetrical structure of traffic signs as symmetry of information presentation form was used.When the capacity was more than ten,there was lower operation performance whatever the structure may be.It was concluded that there was symmetry effect in structure as the information capacity was presented between six and ten.
