摘要
元话语作为组织语篇、表达作者态度的手段体现了元话语概念的认知和语用特征。文章通过实例从认知和语用的视角揭示了元话语对语篇意义表达产生的制约和影响。由于不同语言在表意方式上的差异,翻译中对元话语的处理应采用动态灵活的策略,实现原文意义的顺利转换。
The cognitive and pragmatic nature of metadiscourse is reflected in its functions to organize the discourse and to signal the writer＇s attitude.By taking a cognitive-pragmatic approach,this paper explores the constrains of metadiscourse on meaning expression empirically.And this paper proposes to take a flexible approach in translating metadiscourse for conveying the original faithfully and smoothly.
