Ira the field of second language acquisition, factors influencing learning strategy use has become a new interest of linguists. By reviewing a large anaount of materials in this field, the author finds that gender, career orientation, beliefs about language learning, language proficiency level and learners＇ motivation are the most important factors influencing the choice of learning strategies.
