金融发展与技术进步:基于中国省级数据的研究

Relationship Between Financial Development and Technological Advancement Based on Cross Provinces Data

金融发展能促进经济增长,但是其具体机制还有待进一步研究。本文从技术进步的角度考察了金融发展促进经济增长的具体机制,并把技术进步分解成前沿技术创新和技术效率改进,分别研究了金融发展与技术创新和技术效率的关系。结果发现,金融发展显著地促进了技术进步,但是其效果在各地区之间存在差异;金融发展对技术效率的促进作用要大于对技术创新的支持作用。

Financial development can promote economic growth,but we are far from understanding the mechanism.This paper researches the mechanism how the financial development promotes technical progress.We decompose technical progress into technology innovation and technical efficiency,and research the relationship between financial development with technology innovation and technical efficiency respectively.The conclusions show that financial development promotes technical progress significantly,but the effect differ from region to region.The promotion effect of financial development on technical efficiency is greater than on technology innovation
