The application of non-cooking rapeseed oil in preparing short oil alkyd for nitrocellulose lacquer can solve the comprehensive utilization of rapeseed oil and showed good economical benefits and excellent performance of nitrocellulose lacquer. The formulation and production process of rapeseed oil modified alkyd were dis- cussed and the formulation of various color exterior nitrocellulose lacquers and film properties were listed.
