DRA（drag reduction agent） is widely used in pipeline of crude oil,refined oil and natural gas,which is an important way of improving the flow capacity of the pipe and reducing energy consumption.This paper reviews the current classification and use of drag reduction agent,oil and natural gas pipeline development of drag reduction agent profile at home and abroad,expounded DRA application examples in crude oil,refined oil and gas pipeline and future directions.
